TRIAX Euro LV 0W-30 is also friction modified to help protect critical parts from wear and drastically prolong their life. This product complies with OEM requirements for both diesel and gasoline engines, with and without Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF).

HOW DO WE COMPARE TO BMW / MERCEDES BENZ OEM OILS?
TRIAX Euro Ultra LV 0W-30 surpasses all OEM specification and performance standards set by BMW and Mercedes Benz for the specifications BMW LL 12, as well as Mercedes Benz 229.61 and 229.51.

Far lower volatility, TRIAX at 9 vs BMW OEM Oil testing at 11.41
This should greatly help to reduce oil consumption which plagues BMWs and Mercedes engines made after 2015, which require a 0W-20 oil.

TRIAX is a PAO / Easter Base vs OEM Oil no PAO or Esters
This greatly improved oil stability under thermal and mechanical loads, significantly increasing its life and engine protection.

Moly Boosted vs OEM Oils without Moly
Significantly reduces friction and improves turbo-charger, bearing and piston protection, far beyond OEM specifications.

BOTTOM LINE
You get a dramatically better oil, more protection, longer life, quieter engine, no oil consumption.

QUESTION:
Doesthis euro 0w30 also meet vw 504.00/507.00 specs?

QUESTION:
Difference Between the VX oil and the LV formulation for MB 229.51 requirements
posted by Dale McGriff
ANSWER:
Without getting into too much detail, the LV meets 229.51 and 229.61, and BMW LL12, which require a low viscosity 0W grade. These are OEM fuel efficient specs. Its a different product really vs the VX, but you can use either one where OEM calls for 229.51. Both are PAO based, both have very long useful lives, over 20k miles.
