What is the REWARDS program and how does it work?

Our rewards program gives 1 point for every $1 spent. The points accumulate in your account and can be redeemed on any future order. Points are redeemed at 10 points per $1 discount.

Example: A $100 order earns 100 points which can be redeemed for $10 off.

How long does it take an order to ship?

Parcel Packages: Same day shipping if ordered by 1 PM CST.

Palletized Shipments: Up to 5 business days depending on the products and order size.

How do I get free shipping?

Parcel Packages: Free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Palletized Shipments: Free shipping is available for qualifying palletized orders. Further information is available on our Shipping Policy Page.

How do I return an item?

We offer free returns for wrong or defective items within 30 days of purchase. Simply contact our support team to initiate a return if its not possible to do it through your account and order history page.

We will email you a free shipping label for UPS or Fedex once your return is approved.

Why are some items out of stock?

Because we are a manufacturer and not a distributor; our operations are based on lean inventory. Most of our production is for bulk and wholesale orders with a small buffer for online stock. We are working to make more products available online. Please, contact us, if you would like to place a bulk order for an out-of-stock item.

What is the lead time for drums and totes?

The lead time for drums and totes is 5-10 business days. They are usually delivered 3-5 business days after being shipped (Depending on the delivery location).

Do you charge restocking fees for returns?

No, we do not.

How do I place larger orders?

Larger orders, usually over 250 gallons, may qualify for our wholesale program. Please get in touch with our sales department via our contact page.

How do I track my order?

Parcel Package Orders: The tracking information is available in your order history.

Palletized Orders: You will receive an email with a copy of the BOL. Please contact your account representative or message us for further information.

Tax Exempt Orders

Sales tax is automatically charged for orders within the state of Texas.

If your business qualifies for tax exemption, download and fill out tax exemption certificate here and email it to accounting@triaxlubricants.com.

You will be contacted afterwards to set up an account.

What should I do for issues with Amazon fulfilled orders?

If you have any problems with an order that Amazon fulfilled, please contact them first. They are responsible for handling all refunds, replacements, or other issues. If Amazon does not resolve the issue, please message us and provide your Amazon order number.

How do I order drums and totes?

Drums and totes are nearly always available for all products. The inventory and price may not reflect on the website.

These orders go out palletized and with freight carriers so a freight quote is often necessary. If you would like to buy drums and totes, please get in touch with customer service.

How do I order at wholesale prices?

We offer discounts for qualified dealers, vehicle service centers, OEM dealerships, commercial fleets, distributors, and for export. Minimum order quantities apply. Please see our wholesale page for more details.

Below are some common questions about Triax products.

Are TRIAX products API licensed?

We have a large range of products that are API licensed and certified. This includes our TRIAX Synergy SRT engine oils and several of our diesel engine oils. Heavily modified products are not API licensed because the additive content is too high. These modifications drastically improve lubricant performance and durability over API licensed products.

Does TRIAX warranty the products?

Yes, we do. We guarantee that our products are free from defects and are fully compatible with the OEM specifications and applications listed on the product label and data sheet. Please see our detailed product warranty here.

Will TRIAX products keep my factory warranty?

Yes, they will. We guarantee that our products are fully compatible with the OEM specifications and applications listed on the product label and data sheet.

Under US law, the OEM cannot void the warranty for using an aftermarket product or require you to use their product to maintain factory warranty. This aspect of warranty law is covered by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. If you have any issues with a service center or OEM dealership trying to force you to use their products, please contact us.

Do TRIAX products permit long drain intervals?

Yes, our oils permit drain intervals far beyond the capability of regular oils. Besides fuel and coolant contamination, drain intervals are primarily affected by oil shear (thinning out of grade) and oxidative thickening. TRIAX formulations use exceptional quality components to ensure that oil life is as long as possible. These oil change intervals are given based on a mechanically sound vehicle. Fuel and coolant leaking into the oil will dramatically shorten oil change intervals.

Do TRIAX products use PAO base oils?

Yes, we do. Most of our synthetic oils use some combination of PAO base oils and stabilizing esters.

Why are TRIAX tractor fluids red?

We dye our tractor fluids red because the bright red color readily identifies leaks, letting you know which fluid is leaking. It also makes it easy to see the oil through the oil-level glass in many hydraulic systems. The color is cosmetic only and does not affect performance.
