Certainly better than John Deer Hyguard and I think even better than Amsoil Hydraulic oil and at a lower price. I also like that it’s tinted red so it’s easy to spot any leaks or drops on the floor.

QUESTION:
My tractor manual calls for Mobilfluid 424 which is NOT a synthetic oil. I want to switch to a synthetic oil though. My concern is, despite draining my current oil, some would remain in my lines/hoses/cylinders. When I add the Triax Agra Supreme synthetic fluid, it would inevitably mix with the left over non-synthetic oil stuck in my lines/hoses/cylinders. Would this cause an issue?

QUESTION:
I understand this fluid is branded as a Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO), but is this the same thing at Universal Tractor Fluid (UTF) or is there some kind of difference between the two?

ANSWER:
The UTTO refers to the type of fluid that is used in tractors with the same sump for the transmission and hydraulic system. There are many types of UTF fluids, most are the basic, low quality products. UTTO type fluids have to meet a much wider range of specifications, like this one.

ANSWER:
The Agra Supreme is capable of 1000 hours or more but we recommend oil analysis and filter change at 500 to check for contamination. Contamination is really the determining factor in oil change intervals for our products.

Can your triax agra utto xl oil be used in a 2009 boomer 3040 new holland with a CVT transmission? If so what is the recommendation on changing the filters in the 6000 HR. period? Also what would you recommend for a full synthetic oil for the engine for the same tractor,and in how many HR. would change the engine oil and filter?

ANSWER:
Yes, it can be used in your boomer. You would need 25 liters (28 quarts of UTTO) and 5.8 liters (6 quarts) of engine oil. You should use the Agra Supreme 15W-40 Synthetic, its available in gallons.

As far as spec goes, it will be more than sufficient for your needs. 50 hours is a very short time, a waste I think. This fluid is designed for very long service life, 600-1000 hours in transmissions, depending on the transmission and for up to 6000 hours in the hydraulic system.
