Use it on my two Stander zero turns. Works well and long lasting
I recently picked up a zero turn gravely with a blown motor. I had a replacement from another mower to swap in so for the price, I couldn't lose. The guy said he'd used it for about 16 years and had never serviced the transaxles! After changing the oil and filters, I do believe him. I swapped engine first and as soon as it started, the trans were screaming even in neutral. Changed the engine oil and the trans fluid to triax with new filters. The Trans are so much more quiet. Sound like new. They are more responsive and smooth also. I use Triax in my diesel truck and it's great also. I have the 2 stroke mix but haven't used it yet. I'm definitely sold on Triax so far. Great products! I want some Triax stickers to put on everything!
Typically I use valvoline VR1 20w-50, its full of zinc and phosphorus but its 5 quarts of conventional oil for 26 bucks. I purchased this in the gallon jug for the extended service interval. I failed to realize I need 2.25 quarts per hydro gear box to service the mower so I had to order a second gallon. Now its a 120 dollar service vs 60. There was no noticeable difference in performance after the service vs the vr1.
I had already bought high end hydro fluid to do my 70 hour service on my commercial mower. I ended up buying this Triax Trans Zero because you just cannot get any better than this. Highly recommended.
Awesome product. John Deere trans is running smooth
Looks like it will be a great oil for my hydro gears. Ships quickly and the built-in spout on the gallon bottles comes in very handy. So much so I'm fact that I saved them for my chain oil for the saws.
Great product. Use this oil in all my zero turn mowers. Recommend to anyone looking for oil for their transmissions.

Have a zero turn with 67 hours equipped with HydroGear ZT-3100 hydros. I figured I would do the first hydro oil change on the machine. Original factory fill oil came out very clean, not dark at all, so I wasn't expecting much of an improvement with the TRIAX 20w50......I was wrong! This stuff made a tremendous improvement. Completed the fill and purge process, and the hydros were dramatically quieter! I thought the whine noise when it was new was just how they sounded. The factory fill oil was definitely NOT full synthetic. This TRIAX fluid far surpasses any factory OE spec 20w50 hydro oil that you would find on most OPE dealer shelves. The hydros are more responsive as well, seem to operate smoother and a just a touch quicker. Didn't realize fluid could make such a difference. TRIAX Trans Zero 20w50 is definitely some quality oil. Very pleased with this product.
